HTC Ville appearance looks clearer in the pictures of the catch in which this phone has an extra-thin body with only 0.31 inches thick. HTC Ville is an Android smartphone running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) with 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED screen.
Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which is, like Android Honeycomb, does not require any button below the screen like most Android phones, because the user interface of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich provides a virtual button on the screen itself.
No new hardware specification details have emerged, but this phone will certainly enter the market with a mid range features that are still relatively high-end for now. HTC Ville has a specifications of a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with 540 × 960 pixels resolution, dual-core processor, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4, 1650 mAh battery, process of Beats audio, and also an eight megapixels camera with a sensor capable of taking video HTC 1080p.
It looks like the HTC Ville will appear at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in late February, then followed by the launch in April in which Europe and Asia will likely become the main market first, followed by North America.
